We have had a very busy day today and this afternoon we learnt about the different features of castles that keep us safe. The children worked with a partner to follow the clues around the classroom to find out the names of these features. They then had a go at drawing them. Some of the words were extremely tricky, like battlements and rampart, but everyone tried their best with reading them and remembering them.
What a great day we’ve had!
