Year 5/6 became archaeologists today (as part of family learning) and took part in a dig. They had to find the pieces of a Neolithic jug and then put it back together which proved to be quite challenging – the children were very resilient! They all earned their archaeologist award and can now go on to dig up more fossils and artefacts! Some also continued with our cave paintings by adding their hand prints directly on to our cave walls in the classroom.
