Wow – what a week of kindness and compassion it has been … anti-bullying, kindness day AND Children in Need! On top of all that, I have two very special shout outs to make for two boys who have gone the extra mile with their acts of kindness …
Shout out No.1 goes to Kole who took it upon himself on Thursday to show great stewardship and integrity by quietly tidying up ALL of our pencil pots as the rest of us listened to a story (without being asked!) … thank you, Kole! He continued this act of kindness today and even had a few keen helpers who wanted to make up a team of stewards in the classroom – what a positive influence!
Shout out No.2 goes to Sam who was so moved by our learning about disadvantaged children for Children in Need during crew that he has set Crew Dutton the challenge of donating an unwanted toy each so that we can make a big bag of Christmas presents that can be donated to our local charity shop … what a compassionate thing to think of!
Well done, boys … I wonder who will be making our class super proud again next week?
