Hello Year 1
We have set up a new online classroom for you where you can access homework, key information, learning and learning links. All children should have received an email inviting them to join their new classroom. Everyone has a new login for their emails but should have the same password.
Once you have joined leave us a comment on the classroom so we know you have been successful. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Miss Hilton and Mrs Dutton
It might be Thursday but it’s the end of another busy week in Class 6. All the children have been working hard at school so enjoy the longer weekend and we will see you back in class on Tuesday!
This week the children have been learning about timelines and how transport has changed throughout history. In maths, we have been exploring 1more and 1less, and in English the children have been working hard on writing in full sentences – check out some of their fab work below!
Our Learning legend today was Bliss who had some fantastic sentence ideas in English – what a Lightbulb Leo!
Mrs Dutton & Miss O’Neill
Well done to Tuesday’s learning legends, Cara and Carter! And, to our learning legends for today, Samantha and Teddy! Great work by all – keep it up!
Well done to Bobby who demonstrated not just one learning alien today but two! Bobby worked really hard practising forming digits 1 – 10 before being kind to another classmate and helping them. Have A Go Henry and Motivated Mo would be so proud – great job!
We’ve come to the end of another busy week in Class 6 – lots of learning, lots of fun and lots of collaborative teamwork. Great job, everybody!
Today’s learning legend was Cara who has been kind and helpful in helping one of our crew members with their reading. Harry was our Out of this World nominee for blowing us away with his can do attitude in writing … He has written some fantastic sentences this week – well done, Harry.
Here are a few shots from our learning activities this week:
Today’s learning legend is Annabel who demonstrated great teamwork in our collaborative transport sorting activity today. Well done!
Well done to today’s learning legend, Francesca who was a real Lightbulb Leo when she decided to cheer up one of her crew members with our worry monster. What great thinking, Francesca – keep it up!
Today we have started our blast off into our new expedition, asking the question: how have the changes in transport made our journeys safer?
Well done to Teddy who was our learning legend today. He has been making some really smart decisions about where to sit in the classroom so that he can produce his best work – great job!
