Girls football tournament winners!

A huge well done to the Green Top girls who won the tournament this afternoon against the other pyramid schools. You were all amazing and you played so well as a team! I have really enjoyed working with you all over the past two years and I am so proud of how far you have all come!

Thank you as always to everyone who came to support our girls and a special shout out to Ryan M for being awesome at warming the girls up for me! 50hps to you all!

Y3/4 celebration event

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our theme learning ‘do you fancy a change?’

Years 3&4 have really enjoyed this theme and having the opportunity to share their learning & their chocolate! Here are a few photos from the event. Please check back later on the year 3&4 blogs for more photos & videos!

We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and we hope to see you all at our picnic in the park event this Sunday at midday!

parents vs Year 3 rounders

What a fabulous morning we have had playing rounders vs our parents. So much fun was had by all and it was great to see fabulous teamwork! We also have some very competitive and skilful parents which resulted in the win for them!

Well done to the parents for winning!  Thank you to all for taking part and supporting this event; the children have been buzzing about it all day and can’t wait for a re-match!

XPOSE 2019

What an absolute privilege to be able to take these students and staff to the xpose conference today. They shared their views and experiences in their workshops ‘we are crew too’ and ‘why is Green Tops roof Green?’

If you’re on Twitter please see the #xpose2019 for all the coverage of a truly amazing day.

3/4 Rounders tournament

Can I just say a huge well done to everyone who played tonight. I genuinely couldn’t be prouder. It’s not a sport we have been practising for long but I have seen huge improvements in each and everyone of you and it was a pleasure to watch you all play!

We had one team who were the overall winners, another who came third and our final team who came joint fifth. All schools who joined in were brilliant: King Edward, Marshland, Brooke, West Road and Hatfield Woodhouse; the children were a credit to their schools. All members of staff from the other schools commented on how well our players played and how they showed good sportsmanship! So there is 50 hps from me to everyone who played tonight!

As always, thank you to all parents and carers who came to watch and support our children and to the many staff who gave up their time to support- we couldn’t do these events without you!

Thank you again,

Miss Blackham

Can you please fill in both consent forms, sign and hand them back to your child’s class teacher ASAP!

Thank you very much for your patience and continued support. It’s going to be an amazing day for the children!!
