The children are always desperate to get onto the play equipment so for Funky Friday last week it was an easy choice for our Friday treat. I think it is safe to say the children are excited about transitioning onto this playground!

Good Morning All,
Please click on the link below to see the EYFS Hook Week video from our wonderful visit from Ian’s Farm and a little information about why we hook and immerse at Green Top.
Enjoy!
We have been practising our addition skills this week in our maths learning, we have been using number tracks and continued our learning with a game of snakes and ladders!
Well done everyone 😊

We have had lots of lovely relaxing story times during the day today. Children have been bringing their favourite stories from home to share with their friends and it has been awesome!!
Im excited to see which stories we get to read tomorrow!
Mrs Wallace 😊
We are LOVING extra story time this week! Some of the children have been sharing their favourite books with their friends and we’ve had so much fun reading as many books as we can! We started the morning with ‘My Big Shouting Day’ which we found very funny and then we read an exciting story about a fairy and a witch! After this we had lots of fun teaching our teachers all about Paw Patrol. It was a great start to our day! I wonder what we will read tomorrow?

We had a fantastic story at the end of the day, we loved joining in with our sound effects and learning about the farm!
Don’t forget to record your masked reader video tonight… I wonder what we will read tomorrow?

In Literacy we read the story of the Little Red Hen and we made our own bread to taste! It was so yummy we decided to use the flour to bake some other treats too. We made chocolate concrete and chocolate cake. Thank you Mrs Cook for helping us!
