What is it?
Most importantly, Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

Today Class 14 have been discussing mental health and how we can help others. This afternoon we made our own positive thought jars to help others. Whenever we feel upset or down we can read the messages to help pick us up. I am so proud of class 14 for how mature and brilliant they all were throughout the lesson. #it’soknottobeok.
This week the children have enjoyed listening to different songs to improve their SPaG. We have sung along to Britney to learn parenthesis and next week we’re starting off with modal verbs. Here are the songs for you to listen along to at home.
Crew Ambler have been busy in Forest School building fires and cooking marshmallows. Unfortunately they didn’t save me any!
Forest school for Year 5 has begun!
Last week all three crews enjoyed their first session outdoors using some of the equipment.
Just a reminder that children can come into school on a Thursday morning ready for forest school – wearing clothes suitable for outdoors. Children will need their uniform to change into after the session. Remember to bring a spare pair of shoes as it can get wet and muddy.
Well done to this weeks house point winners! There are lots of exciting new prizes to choose from and enjoy so keep up the hard work!
