Hot dogs, popcorn and film night

Sunset club staff and children enjoyed ‘film night’ to celebrate the end of the half term. Great fun was had by all!

What a super star!

Megan has recently had a busy weekend.  Not only did she complete her very first 5k race for charity but she also received a silver scouting award along with Martha and TJ who are also in Year 6.  Alistair who left us for Trinity in the summer also achieved the award.  Well done to you all!

QR codes

We have been preparing some of our writing and work linked to our theme so you can view it through a QR code.  The QR code will appear on our calendar that we are currently producing.  We are excited and can’t wait to launch our product on the 18th December.

Super homework

Class 16 have produced a vast amount of homework linked to our Rainforest theme.  Mrs Overson has been blown away by the effort, quantity and quality of what we’ve been doing at home.

Here are two poems that Martha and Megan produced before half term.

Y6 making us proud…again!

A huge well done to all those who took part in Wednesday evening’s football tournament. It was our first official outing in our new kit and not only did the children look the part, they played equally as well. The boys played as a team and put in some excellent performances. On behalf of Mr Amber and I, thank you children and parents for an enjoyable evening of sport in our local area!

A special thanks to King Edward for hosting and Mr Heath for organising.

Good luck to Y3/4 children in your football tournament tomorrow night!
