Lincoln Castle Visit!

Today, Class 4 and Class 5 went on a trip to Lincoln Castle, which links to our theme topic ‘What secrets do the castle walls tell us?’. On the trip we had our own Banquet, looked at knights armour where the children could wear it and got to fire some bow and arrows, it was awesome!!

We had a lovely time walking the castle walls where we saw some great views of Lincoln, some prison cells and a dungeon! As you can see, the children had a great day out!

Mr Spetch.

Incredible Castles with Scrapstore

What an amazing day! KS1 have been so busy working alongside artists from Scrapstore in Hull. Today each class created large scale castles out of scrap materials that would normally be thrown away by factories in the area. These castles will now be used as break out areas in our new fan dabby dozie immersive classrooms. We have learnt that great things can be created with recyclable materials, we worked as a team and had lots of FUN!

A memorable day for all children and teachers. IMG_0783[1]IMG_0779[1]IMG_0774[1]IMG_0767[1]IMG_0765[1]IMG_0762[1]IMG_0756[1]IMG_0759[1]IMG_0745[1]IMG_0753[1]

Today we held our ‘Celebrating Children’s Learning Event’ for EYFS and KS1 parents. It was great to see the children leading their learning conversation. Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended today. PE10 pe11 pe12

KS1 Theme Celebration morning!

Today the children in Class 5, along with other KS1 classes, celebrated the end of their current theme. The children have been learning all about; Amelia Earhart, Amy Johnson, The Wright Brothers, The Vulcan and Hot Air Ballloons. Children worked with family members or friends to complete the quiz about all of these!. The children did fantastic and their knowledge was awesome! Thank you, Mr Spetch.
